  COPYRIGHT AND EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

1. Content of the online offer

The authors do not assume any guarantee for the current nature, accuracy, completeness, or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the authors relating to damage or loss of a material or non-material nature, resulting from the use or non-use of the information provided and/or from the use or incorrect and incomplete information, shall be excluded as a matter of principle, insofar as no demonstrably intentional or grossly negligent fault on the part of the authors is present. All offers are subject to alteration and non-binding. The authors expressly reserve the right to modify, supplement, or delete parts of the pages or the entire offer without separate notification, or to discontinue publication temporarily or definitively.

2. References and links

For direct or indirect references to third-party websites ("links") that are outside the authors' area of responsibility, a liability obligation would only enter into force in the event that the authors were aware of the content and that it was technically possible and reasonable for them to prevent use in the case of illegal content. Consequently, the authors expressly declare that, at the time of linking, the corresponding linked pages were free from illegal content. The authors do not have any influence on the current and future design or content of the linked/connected sites. They therefore expressly distance themselves from all content on all linked/connected pages that has been modified after linking. This statement applies to all links and references placed within the author's own internet offer and for third-party entries in the guestbooks, discussion fora, and mailing lists set up by the author. Only the provider of the page that is referred to shall be liable for illegal, incorrect, or incomplete content, and in particular for damage or loss resulting from the use or non-use of information presented in this way, not the party that merely refers to the publication in question by means of links.

3. Copyright and trademark law

In all publications, the authors strive to respect the copyright for the graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts used, to utilize graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts they have created themselves, or to resort to license-free graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts. All brand names and trademarks referred to within the internet offer and, where applicable, protected by third parties, shall be subject to the provisions of the relevant applicable trademark law and the title rights of the relevant registered owner, without restriction. It is not to be assumed that simply because a brand name is mentioned, this is not protected by third-party rights. The copyright for published items created by the author itself shall remain solely with the author of the pages. Duplication or use of such graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts in other electronic or print publications shall not be permitted without the express consent of the author.

However, in the event that the pages in question nonetheless contain a graphic, audio document, video sequence, or text that is unlabeled but protected by third-party copyright, this is because the author was unable to establish the copyright. In the case of such unintentional copyright infringement, the author shall remove the item in question from its publication following notification, or shall label the item with the appropriate copyright.

4. Data protection

Insofar as, within the internet offer, there is the option of entering personal or commercial information (email addresses, names, addresses), the disclosure of this information by the user shall take place on an expressly voluntary basis. The use of and payment for all services on offer shall – insofar as technically possible and reasonable – also be permitted without providing such information and/or by providing anonymized information or a pseudonym. 5. Legal validity of this exclusion of liability. This exclusion of liability should be regarded as part of the internet offer. In the event that parts of or individual wordings within this text do not comply fully with the legislation in force, or no longer do so, this shall not affect the content or validity of the remaining parts of the document.
